It's the title of a book from Nietzsche (like the subtitles of Ep. II and III).

Thank you Radical_dreamer and Chrono99. I am going to read some reviews and possibly pick up a copy somehwere.

As for the german spelling, I took german but I am not fluent. I think it says "the will to live" or "the will to want".

Something on that line...

I see, so that's why the english translation of "Der wille zur Macht" that you see in the box is a bit awkward.

It could be "the will to power" as said earlier.

Does anyone know if the presence of gears in Xenogears is ever fully explained in Xenosaga Ep. 2 and 3? That's the one thing that I'm really looking forward to and will be really pissed off at if left out

I dont know how many times have to say this, but:

Xenogears is Xenogears.  Xenosaga is Xenosaga.  They share thematic and styllistic simalirtes but they are TWO DIFFERNT STORYLINES!!!!!1111ONEONE.

Yes, Able resembles Fei.  I concede that Nephilm resembles Elly.  I totally get that UDO and Deus are basically the same thing.  Jin and Citan Uzuki could have been separated at birth for all the things they have in common. But at the end of the day, they are still two different stories being told.  They only thing that could convince me otherwise would be seeing the launch of the Eldridge played against the closing credits of Xenosaga Episode III.

It says it is on Wikipedia, and those guys know their stuff.

Anyone know where to download Xenosaga: The Animation?
