Revision as of 02:32, 30 March 2012

The following documents need to be translated to achieve a greater understanding of the Chrono series. If you would like to volunteer, please contact chronocompendium@gmail.com. Your work will be invaluable in helping us crack the last few mysteries whose answers have been forever barred from Western audiences.

Chrono Trigger Prerelease

Script

Video

Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger OAV Manga

It's around ~160 pages and intended for a young reading level, so perhaps it won't be as difficult to translate as other stuff. If possible, a scanlation would be mind-blowingly awesome.

Chrono Trigger Ultimania

Secrets pages should be skimmed for anything new to the fandom, which should be translated.

Parse in case there's any new information:

Chrono Trigger V-Jump Player's Guide

This guide is a goldmine of interviews and special features, including some early character sketches by Toriyama (see Official Art) for those.

Chrono Trigger DS

Once the script is complete, the new content portions should be Retranslated. The Dream's Epilogue ending has already been retranslated by Arc Impulse.

Chrono Cross

ANVIL III - The Man in the High Castle

This is an artbook featuring some of Nobeteru Yuki's work on Chrono Cross. It has a few captions to translate. Easy, easy.

Chrono Cross V-Jump Preview Video

No transcription of the spoken text exists. The video isn't very long. It can be downloaded here (MP4, 22.2 MB).

Chrono Cross Ultimania

Chrono Cross Missing Piece

This mostly consists of art with small captions. They're great in number, but should be relatively easy to translate.

Chrono Cross OST Liner Notes

The interview with Noriko Mitose hasn't been translated, as well as opening comments by Masato Kato.

Chrono Cross Bandai Card Game

See Chrono Cross Bandai Card Game for more information. Every card needs to be translated:
