Enhasa, the beauteous city of dreams, is the first city [[Crono]] encounters on his visit to [[Zeal]]. Featuring countless beds and the usual run of stunning architecture -- golden windows, ornate walls, and spanning bookcases of erudition -- it is a testament to the actualized society of Zeal. In a land where hard work and sacrifice have satisfied all humanity's basic needs, and men and women are afforded the most comfortable and enriched lifestyle available in history, the people have turned to self-enrichment and the art of dreaming. Their thoughts in the inhibitionless world of dreams can float freely and deeply, able to form at an instant in the pure construct of the mind, far removed from the physical world. In this enlightened world, the pupils of Enhasa have simply gone to sleep to allow their imagination total freedom and peace. These dreamers lived in the culminated society of human achievement, and now have resigned to explore more ethereal frontiers.

Enhasa, the city of dreams, is the first city Crono encounters on his visit to Zeal. Enhasa features countless beds and Zeal's usually stunning architecture -- golden windows, ornate walls, and spanning bookcases of erudition. Where hard work and sacrifice have satisfied all of humanity's basic needs, and where people are afforded the most comfortable and enriched lifestyle available in history, citizens of Zeal have turned to self-enrichment and the art of dreaming. In this enlightened world, the pupils of Enhasa have simply gone to sleep to allow their imagination total freedom and peace. These dreamers have resigned from humanity's culmination of Zeal's society to explore more ethereal frontiers.

When Crono arrives for the first time in the city of dreams, Janus confronts him with a dark prophecy. The party can then open a series of books representing the elements to open a secret room -- Water, Wind, and Fire. Inside are six Nu who, if defeated, provide the party with a Magic Tab and a Speed Tab. An enlightened woman also runs a shop. Other than these, the only inhabitants of the city are the dreamers, who speak enigmatically. One Poyozo asks the party about the existence of fate; if Crono triumphantly discounts it, the Poyozo will be encouraged and will provide the party with a clue on opening the secret room containing the Nu.
