Pre-Release stuff

I'm just scrolling through the pre-release cause i'm bored.  But i noticed in the room where u get epoch There's a stairs and to control panels.  I never saw those in the original rom unless i'm blind  :?

Also noticed in lab 32 if u get past the blocking proto 16's.  It makes a clink sound and the one behind it goes up to the top 4 and then you have to fight them  :?

=O Changing of weapons allowed during battle!

Now into the factory there's a conveyor belt that was never finished i guess.

Now for the next pictures.  There's a ladder in Cyrus's Memorial O_O  2 of them to be exact.  I'll post a picture tutorial.  Of course i have walk through walls code on.

Well, there's still all that event code that isn't pointed to...
I'm still waiting for more event fix codes or that patch Jlukas said he'd make...

Another Update!

Crono: His confuse is different.  Instead of circling and slashing, he slashes like 10 times in 1 place then flies to other one and ends.  He is also missing a tech I believe.  Unless there just empty spaces

Marle: Missing a tech

Frog: Slurp Cut is just a Critical Hit

Lucca: Nothing

Ayla: Missing 1-2 techs I believe.  Also, her triple kick is different.  She picks up the enemy, throws it or something kicks it and the enemy moves farther.  She does it 3 times then kicks them back to where they came from.

*Update*: Ayla's Kiss, it doens't heal anybody.  It provokes all the monsters to come to her and not hit anyone else.
Charm: All of it works.  Cept it doens't steal an item.  And when the heart hit's it stops.  ALSO, when the heart stops she jumps over and attacks like she was forcefully trying to steal the item.

Robo:  Missing Uzzi Punch

Magus: He was missing all his techs, but I hacked them in thanks to a handy-dandy save state editor.  The Tech listing's go as

Lightning 2
Water 2 (Replaces Dark mist i believe)
Fire 2
Dark Bomb (Works but no animation)
Ice 2
Black Hole (When hole is completly open, the game freezes)
Dark Matter  (works but no sound)

Double Techs
---------------------------
Fire Sword 1 & 2 - Were never finished or even started I believe
Most double techs work

Triple Techs
----------------------
Missing omega laser etc...

items
------------------
All the rocks were never made yet.

Stats
-------------------------------
The stats were a little different.  This should go to items but w/e.  Usually the items bring them up to a limited amount.  But they're strongest weapon braught everyone up to 255 attack.  Also, when they're stats were at max they weren't stars.  Just said 99

Also, just one question.

Does anyone know where the attack bytes start?  Like in full rom its cd5ec6.  I tried testing that out in the pre-release but I don't think that's where it starts...Unless i'm mistaken.

Marle doesn't have Haste; I've read she has Esuna instead. I tried using it, and it cured status conditions.
In the default savegames, Crono is missing Spincut.

Oh, Crono has spin cut alright if you hack it in.  Only difference is that there's no sound and he doesn't have those phasing clones come out of him.

Also, the pre-releaes you don't fight mother brain at all.  It' just get to the switch I guess.

WOW! JUST GOT INTO OCEAN PALACE!  Holy crap the place is completely different.  COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!  I'll host screenies and stuff later on.  I'm gonna discover more locations

More Info.  There's a basement by the barracks side in 1000 AD Guardia Castle.  If you walk past the guards, there's rats crawling on the ceiling.  THen they attack you.  I'll get a movie of it if i can.
