These monsters became known as Aycit Saurus, Aycit Nix, and Fossil Ape in the final Japanese version.

Queen Zeal's face graphics are different.

Gonzales Shell was renamed to Great Goro in the final version (and Cybot in the North American translation).

C2-C4 Dragon Tank, C5 Ultra Dinoman, C6 Ultra Nizbel

These are all forms of Lavos, but whereas they are named "Lavos" in the final, they retain their original monster names in the Prerelease (plus "Ultra" in a couple cases).

C8 Super Heckran

This was the name of Tubster before being changed for the final.

C9 Gran & Leon R

This is Masa and Mune, appearing among the Lavos forms. Perhaps the combined form was planned to be used in the Lavos imitation battles.

CE Dinicator

This is the name of the Lavos core in the Prerelease. It's just a placeholder graphic.

D4 Guard Machine

A strange mechanical enemy that appears to be a gun emplacement can be found in the Prerelease. It was originally a set of moving guns for the Guardian boss in 2300 A.D.

This is the name of Lavos Spawn in the Prerelease. D5 and D6 were replaced with red and blue scouter enemies in the final.

Monster 241 (which has a blank name) is an invisible monster that displays "There was a noise somewhere." when attacked. It's possible that it was used for the switches in the Ozzie battles.

These are all dummy Crono monsters. Soshak is a unique monster name, but sadly there are no graphics for it.

Little is known about this enemy, as he was not programmed into the game. He was most likely used in the prehistoric era. His palette (colors) is not the one it would've used if he appeared in the game.
