A Golden Beetle is a rare and prized bug in the world of Radical Dreamers, rumored to appear once every thousand years and promise anyone who catches it more wealth than can be possibly spent in a lifetime. In her childhood, Kid once painted a regular beetle gold and tried to pass it off; Serge accidentally guesses this story while speaking to Esmeld. In the scenario Kid and the Sunflower, Kid catches sight of the insect and tries to reach it, eventually stumbling upon the Mandora Monster.
