General Information

Events Played: Opening Cutscene
Original Japanese Title: CHRONO CROSS~時の傷痕~ / CHRONO CROSS ~Toki no Kizuato~

The percussion used in the opening movie are "triangle", "shaker", "gran cassa", "gran cassa brush", "tree bell", "finger cymbal", and "dumbek". (There might have been more...?) (There may be more...?) And the tight, crisp drum-like sound is really the sound of a dumbek being struck with a stick.

Mitsuda also confirmed that Masato Kato wrote the opening poem of the game.

Mitsuda discussed his process of composing the song at September 12, 2019 - Yasunori Mitsuda CC 20th Interview.
