Damn. You really crank these out fast. I think Dalton and Giga Gaia are my favorites so far, although I missed all of the early ones that are broken links now. I see you had a Giga Gaia early on in the thread. Did you completely redo it for the more recent post?

The old one's I made about 12 years ago. And did them all by hand with no sculpting.
And wasn't even close to getting it looking correct.

So that kinda shows how far things have come.

Oh, yeah, that's way different. Your newer stuff is much more refined and on-model.

I have been at these for over a year now. And have gotten a lot done. I don't lie, AI is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Are you having AI generate base models for all of them to sculpt on top of? What AI are you using?

First I use Nano Bannana from google.
Prompts like this.

Then move it over to https://www.meshy.ai/

Here is Dalton from earlier.

Gets the basic shape, take into sculpt. Then retopo it down.

I've never used either of those tools so it took me a minute, but I think I understand what you're doing?

Are you using Nano Banana to create a 2D image that just looks like a rendered 3D model, and then using Meshy to create an actual model from that? If so, that's a pretty clever approach that I probably wouldn't have thought of.

Judging from that Dalton pic it looks like it gives you a pretty decent roughed out shape to start with, but still requires a fair bit of work on your end. Mostly lets you skip the "blocking out" part, I guess.

Yes, Nano banana takes the 2d model to look 3d, then meshy to create the model.

It saves a ton of time for me.
