You are a genius. Never noticed the avatar was so familiar until now.

And...mop!

THE MOP IS PROOF!

Oh that vinegar in a pickle pun hurt XD. Ya know, I was fully aware of Ozzie's catch phrase and his Japanese name-  I just never put them together haha

When I was little I thought the Ozzie's in a pickle joke was funny because he's green.

I wonder if any other puns like that have been glanced over or lost in translation.

-Spekkio and Master Vainqueur are one and the same. Because they are gods of war. Who teach magic. In a world of time travel. They are very similar, OK?

god damn woolsey.

If you checked the retranslation script here, you'll find it was not pickle in original script.

ah, you're right. it's   "vinnegar piiiiiiiiiiiinch!"  as in I'm in a pinch, a pun on a pinch of vinegar.

god damn woolsey.

You would have preferred Ozzie be named Vinegar?  Sometimes there's an irrational amount of hate for the original translation.  I thought it was charming.

Woolsey didn't want to do Chrono Cross not because he had moved on from localizations, but because "that shit is stank"
