Don't worry, it's there, I remember seeing Gasper saying it and wondering what he meant.

As for the gate... I think he meant: "The Mystics' mountains" rather then "The Mystic Mountains."

Yes, but is there really any difference in the naming? Mystic must refers to the kind of monsters obviously, not the common term "mystic".

Also, about the baby falling down the mountain thing. I think it'd have a better chance of living than if an old person (adult) fell. It's like if an ant falls of a cliff, it won't die because it's to small to have impact. The smaller something when it falls from up high, the less impact. The bigger you are, the harder you'll fall :P

A baby is also more fragile than an adult. It is very unlikely that an infant Kino would have survived falling from the Gate. So between that, the many timeline implications, and the fact that most of this discussion is based off of one NPC statement that I have missed every time I played CT, I believe that Kino simply could not have come from the future.

We have all witness the power of the people of 65,000,000BC. I doubt that any of them would be hurt by a little fall anyway. Like they're wild and trained, and still have instincts as children probably. Ayla jumped off the same mountain like a monkey and wasn't hurt at all Oo

Woa now you seem confuse we're talking about Kino being actually from another tiem thus not a 65,000,000,000 BC native

Well here there a re two theory fighting right now

1- Kino came from the gate in Mystic Mountain and Ayla found him

2-Kino didn't came from the gate by ws there for some reason

here's the major point we were fighting on :

Kino could come from the gate because the fall would have killed him

===================================

Just a though I hade here

Quote
Find baby Kino crying on mountain too.
   Chief raise Kino.
   Now chief's right arm.

We don't know who found Kino in the mountain, we don't know who is the chief it could be Ayla or it could HAVE BEEN someone else.

but he mention chief the same way in both sentence so it must be likely that Ayal is the chief he's talking about.

I don't have any clue how old is Ayla but she must be atleash 10 years + than Kino, if we knew her gae maybe we could know how old approx. was Kino

Also, we don't know if Kino popped out naked or if he had a cradle or some clothes that would protect him.

Well we know he didn't die so maybe that's why but it could be something too fancy or else it would have be noticeabl and the people would have talk about it, but good point there

i saw this at the Chronicles, some1 there said that maybe he was just dumped there. Which seems almost highly likely seeing as our other thoeries arent supported by anything, and the fact that Kino would have died.

There's something else too. It's been a looong time since I played CT, but during the Ocean Palace disaster (don't remember which timeline...), didn't an NPC woman also get snapped by a lightning bolt/portal besides the Gurus and Janus? If so then we know she had to get somewhere, she couldn't just have been vaporized like Biggs and Wedge in FF6.

The End of Time? Gasper did say the first time you meet him that there were lots of people who ended up there lately.

i am soon gonna be replaying CT again (in New Game+) to have a look at things i missed in the game, i while write that down and check when i get there.

You do have a point...almost every1 that was in the Ocean Palace (no matter how insignificant or not) must have got zapped somewhere...who knows...
