I am not certain that I want to know what exactly the lube and tissues are for, but I am also certain that I know regardless.   :x

Whether I masturbate to the music or not, I still wanna have it.

Bizarre.

I really hope this hasn't replaced the "CC Arranged Album" Mitsuda's been mentioning for years. I love orchestral music, but CC needs a treatment similar to Mitsuda's Kirite.

Unless he does both, which I'd be totally fine with and would get both. :)

But if not, and we only get an orchestral album, I'll be a sad Nu. :(

I haven't seen anything about 'orchestral'. he posted a preview a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago (several years) of a narrow space between dimensions, it's archived here on the compendium, I wouldn't call it all that orchestral.

You're right. I must have read the OP wrong! Although, the sample posted to Mitsuda's website was orchestral (string ensemble version of A Narrow Space Between Dimensions).

........were you hoping for a techno remix?    what other kind of remix could he possibly do? it'd be tough to do a jazz remix of it like he did with CT, pretty much none of CC was based on jazz. I wouldn't mind jazz/world fusion though, that'd certainly be one way of crossing (heh) it over into jazz territory.

Speaking as an experienced composer and arranger, there are a hundred thousand ways to arrange/remix anything. What I'm personally hoping for is, as I posted above, Kirite-style arrangements for the CC album. Heavy on folk styles and instruments from around the world, but focused through Mitsuda's unique lens.

and I'm not? look at it from an aesthetics perspective, would a techno remix of 'start stealing girl' or a jazz remix of 'narrow space between dimensions' realistically work? btw, he's been taking suggestions as to which tunes to do on his FB
http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=214394138593958&id=100000701216323

things like 'radical dreamers' 'garden of god' reminiscence' and 'star stealing' girl seem to be the fan favorites, I just personally don't think anything but world/orchestral stylings typical of mitsuda would work for these (as you said, kirite esque). I don't think we have too look too much further than "MYTH" to see how it will be done, perhaps on a smaller scale orchestrally, we shall see.

I don't want to hear a techno remix of anything; but that doesn't have anything to do with Mitsuda's capability. He's a very talented, creative guy, and can do amazing things with his music. Would a jazz arrangement work? Sure. So could any number of styles. I have confidence in whatever he chooses. Personally, I wasn't terribly pleased with MYTH; the arrangements were dull and the performance anemic. So, I want something better for CC, what I believe to be Mitsuda's best score.

if he's so talented and creative, then why do you consider the project that he feels he is just now good enough at orchestration to handle properly is anemic (MYTH)  :P

He orchestrated only 2 of the 14 tracks on MYTH.
