Question Regarding The "Submissions" Forum
« on: January 17, 2009, 08:52:35 pm »
Can we post a thread there if it has nothing to do with the Chrono series, or does it have to have a connection?

It should have a Chrono connection for sure; we can't very well house fanworks for other series. Unless we try to become this all-consuming Compendium of Everything.

Very well, then.

I was wanting to post a thread titled "Motivational Gallery" for Motivational Posters we find amusing.

Unless that can go here, of course.

If you did, I'd probably just stick it in the "WTF? Check this link out!" thread...I suggest just not doing it as they're rarely funny and almost never size-appropriate (I quit looking through the Chrono ones because of this).

Oh, I'm sure ZeaLitY and the rest are working on THAT even as we speak.

Except the difference between THAT and 4chan is there will be actual rules, you cannot post Anonymously, and you can't post w/e you want.

Oh, no, because on the internet there is mere information without understanding. The Compendium of Everything would seek to understand the subtle and intricate interplay between all things contained therein, till nothing is left unturned.

And it wouldn't suck.

IDK, 4chan has some good in it, but Anonymous keeps hiding it.

4chan is the bane of the internet and should burn slowly.

Personally, the General Discussion forum is enough. If we just start going nuts with it, we'll become The Suck Compendium.

The only good thing about 4Chan is sharing pictures and sometimes torrents of porn.  The endless stream of memes, self identifying as a heartless uncaring cruel entity, and constant struggle to evolve the term anonymous into a group collective (when really it's just an abscence of identification) make it the most retarded place on earth.  It is 100% spam, trolling, and memes, nothing more.  Any attempt at intellectual thought there is quickly smothered by the massive and stupid internet culture that thrives there much like cancer in a chainsmoker's lung.

If you cannot understand the depths of which I am explaining this, try leaving that website, or rather, the entire internet for an extended period.  (Couple months) then come back.  This is also a good way to quit other retarded internet subcultures, such as WoW or EverQuest.

Anonymous is the cancer that is killing 4chan, not just /b/.
