Chrono Trigger Apocalypse Weekly Update #2
« on: November 19, 2009, 12:06:37 am »
Well progress is coming along... rather slowly. I figured I would take a 3 day vacation to play some CoD Modern Warfare 2.

Anywho, progress will pick back up tommorow pending my schedule is open (which is a 50/50).

So I can't post a screenshot of current progress as that will be a major spoiler.

I can give you something else that outta make you say ooh and aah, sarcastically at the least. See that pic at the end of the post

As for finishing this thing up.

Well I have to finish the current scene, do the next scene, do a transition to the final scene, the credits, and finally the scene selections which won't take long.

If I can get a good amount of time over the weekend this thing outta be done by next week. That is if my current scenes "Coding" doesn't want to act up on me and stays smooth for me.

Anyway, here is the pic, and the idea here is to electrify you with how intense CT sprites can really get. Just try and guess what will happen here!!

Indeed.

This reminds me as well, this weekend I decided to live life and hang with friends. If anything gets done, it likely won't be much. I decided that this would be easy to fall back on because Thanksgiving Break starts after school Tuesday and I will have the rest of the week to work on it, besides family time.

I am really hoping to make the push and get this out before the end of November.

Then by all means, live it up and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Family comes first, then CT fan projects.

BTW... actually, that's best saved for a PM.

I am thinking of doing a credits then an after credits ending for those who decide to wait around.

As the ending I have in mind will be much more symbolic if the credits roll in right before hand and the whole after credits thing will seal the episode up nicely.

A post-episode credit tag like they do in the Marvel movies?  Go for it!

Yes, but it is very vital to the story, it really wraps up the episode.
