Is there a minimum or maximum length for the fanfiction, or is it however long the author feels it should be?

Yeah, no length issue. We're patient readers, I guess. Generally, they're short, since a huge fanfic is kind of like saying, "I wrote more, so my fanfic should be rated higher than these short little one-shots without much effort." But it's all in perception, so eh.

Alright, thanks. But that makes wonder now how much I should actually write. I'll try to keep it short while still getting my idea across to the reader. If not, I could write it as a project for the Compendium instead; whichever works.

GenesisOne:

Seeing how I've never actually played Chrono Cross and therefore wouldn't know what to make of the resolutions to turn it into a speculative fan fiction piece, I'm gonna have to sit this one out.

Maybe next year...  :(
