Seeing as how Squeenix has squashed just about every other great project that's been tried... I'd boycott the company if they didnt put out such good games.

I've got more than half of the pages more or less translated, so I took a break to mock up an edited version of one page. Good idea in theory, I think, but.... Two things I've found out: I'm not good enough at image editing to make them look decent after I've inserted the text; and I'm not keen on the notion of spending much time on what amounts to a convenience. I've attached a bit of the incomplete page, mostly for the lulz.

Anyway, I should have the Shades, Dalton and Dream Devourer texts polished before long. I intended to start creeping through the "secrets" section after that, but if anything else seems more interesting, let me know. I took a look at those pages and found that most contain things that are already known to many players: a guide to the endings, an overview of the art and other galleries, notes on where to use Charm, differences that occur due to different party members' presence, etc.

(Sorry if this double posted--had some connectivity issues.)

Had some time today to go through and add what's been done. For the secrets...if it's something that's common knowledge already, feel free to skip it.

Hello again. I was killing a little time on the site when the Ultimania pages with the concept sketches caught my interest. I decided to do a little image editing with a quick translation of them. Not a professional editing job by any stretch of the imagination, but I hope you guys enjoy anyway.

Wow, it's awesome to have translations of these! kobun, what font did you use by the way? It's a purty font.

Jeez, I can't get over how much early Magus looked like something out of Kato's Ninja Gaiden universe. Gives me the chills to see how one work flowed into another like that.

The font is called Manga Temple, it's available for free download at blambot.com. It seemed appropriate.

I love concept sketches, it's like looking into a world that could once have been.

Good news: someone translated all of the Chrono Cross cards, except for the rules card (which is still in progress). I'll get these added ASAP.

I have been going over the "Great to-do list" and noticed that the CTU images still needed translation. I remember doing a couple of them, but did anyone ever receive them? Or have they already been taken care of? Below is an old link to an old sample.

Hm, if they're still on there, we definitely haven't gotten translations for them yet. Do you still have the original files?

Gaspar looks like David the Gnome on drugs.

Further proof that Gaspar was originally planned on being the 8th character... His prototype was one of the eight original proto-characters of Chrono Trigger (as seen in Kobun's picture, as commented on by Mr. Bekkler).

Yeah, I thought he was Melchior at first...

BTW, why "Wise Man" instead of "Sage", which sounds more natural.

Yes I believe so. I can repost them this afternoon as JPEG attachments or whichever is more user friendly. I'll go through all the scanlations I have.
