Hmm...
Me, personally, am glad I'm past Pokémon. I look back on it now, and I see it completely different:
A society where adults send their 12-year-olds out into the world in some inane social ritual to capture wild game and pit them against others who pursue that same activity for money and glory.
Also, their economy is so messed up, they make income solely through shops, cargo shipping, and selling stadium tickets.
Also, you'd think those two teens from Team Rocket would've learned their lesson after the first few times and simply capture a Pikachu that didn't belong to the whiny protagonist. I mean, there's literally thousands of those things around the world. Their boss wouldn't know the difference, but one would think that after all those failures, he would've fired them long ago and used that money to hire more competent and calculating kidnappers.
Well, enough of the passionate rant. It's nowhere near a flame, if that's what you're thinking. After 151, I just decided that enough was enough.
No cards, no collectibles, nothing... I'm done.
