Hmm...The Dimensional Vortex, Dream Devourer, etc...sprites and areas?

I can't find the level maps for the dimensional vortex or any of the little pocket dimensions holding the alternate Crono/Marle/Lucca...Is there a page for those yet? YES, I checked the encyclopedia...it wasn't under locations in CT, so I'm not sure where else it would be...

Even though justin3009 got to it first I think, you can find a copy of the Dream Devourer sprite at the Spriters' Resource: http://spriters-resource.com/ds/chronotrig/index.html

I haven't found backgrounds from CT:DS-only areas either. The Dream Devourer background is just a palette-swapped version of the Lavos Core area IIRC.

It'd be nice for someone to find a way to view or rip CT DS's background arts or sprites handily, but that's a job for a Kajar Laboratories that no longer exists.

I'm probably not going to go through each location taking a bunch of screenshots. I nearly didn't make the Compendium back in 2003 because that was such discouraging drudgery.

If you're not specifically looking for the genuine sprite rips of the maps, low-res versions of them can be found in the Treasure Atlas of CTDS, in the Extras section.

All right, so there just aren't any yet. I thought they were around somewhere and I wasn't finding them.

Even so. There isn't even an article for them in the locations section yet! I'm not saying someone should get up and write one, but out of curiosity...who actually writes the encyclopedia entries? One guy compiling all known knowledge, or are there several people...?

Think of the Encyclopedia like a wiki; anyone can edit it, after getting an account from an admin. Just ask! UTunnels does a lot of Encyclopedia editing because he's awesome.

Sounds like self-volunteerism to me.   

From what I understand there was a ton of frivolous stuff being put on the Compendium encyc when it had full-blown public access, but if you PM ZeaLitY I imagine you could get the appropriate access and write the article you seek.

I haven't actually been to those levels yet...I haven't completed all the Reptite Quests, either...

I got laaazy and didn't feel like leveling up to get rid of some of the more annoying sidequests...
