But Belthasar was gated to 2300. So he could have made a translator to understand the people and vice versa. I doubt he could have found all the necessary matierials on his own.

What? We all know Zeal existed, and IMO Ayla "La means big and Vos Means fire" is another tongue, a primitive one. So Zeal could have another language and Crono and co. found some kind of Translator or maybe Marle's pendant was one! (joke)

Considering the provided explanations, does this need to be entered into the encyclopedia, or can it fall under game convention?
