Fred Travalena's Dead
« on: June 29, 2009, 02:55:27 pm »
The second triad seems to have come to a close. He passed away from his long battle with cancer yesterday.

He was 66.

Creepy. This is a good year not to be famous; how fortunate the man with none (Dead Can Dance reference...uh, probably not the best band name to toss around right now though)!

To make the creepiness even creepier, I'd like to point out that one could link Mr. Travelena to both Ed McMahon via the Tonight Show, and also to Farrah Fawcett. If anyone can find a link between Ed McMahon and Billy Mays & Michael Jackson...but then again, it's merely coincidence for famous people to travel in the same circles.

Well, I'm sure Michael Jackson was on the Tonight Show at least once in his career, or maybe he appeared on Star Search at some point.

As for Billy Mays, maybe they all just loved using Oxy Clean.

Hmm... Ed McMahon ran Star Search, which produced Ashley Argota, who stars as Lulu on "True (Michael) Jackson, VP." Lulu of course being a reference to the character from FFX. The character, Maester Seymour, was actually based on Michael Jackson and his name is an anagram of Mays Est Emour Er.

Mays was recently on the Conan show, the Conan show itself existing because of the late night trail that was blazed by individuals like Ed McMahon.

Its all a conspiracy by SE and TV to root out video game hackers. This one just happens to be focused on FFX; we saw the product of these attempts, as aimed at CT, just a month ago.

Fiendish. Devilishly Fiendish.

*simply marks another tally on a chart of marks under the name of the month June*

Well....yesh! This is a very bad month to be a celebrity of some sort!

Pfft. Ever since Fawcett died and people started going on about 'spooky coincidences' and it being 'that month', I knew this would happen. When Jackson died, everyone was on red alert, so now the following deaths that wouldn't have been associated are now viewed as noteworthy 'coincidences'; people are looking for deaths to confirm what they're looking for. And it only happens once a year because of the low probability of a catalytic death pair like Jackson's and Fawcett's.

That said, as soon as The Obama cures cancer, this probably won't happen again.

You might do well to look up the word "facetious", MsBlack.

We're doing it more for our personal humor than any belief that June is inherently unlucky.

Perhaps they were all supposed to be on the same plane together, but they missed the flight and that plane inevitably crashed, and now Death is killing them off one by one to maintain cosmic balance? Hmm seems plausible someone needs to investigate this further

I heard about the deaths when I was at camp for a week, so I managed to convince all 300 people in the camp that Bill Nye The Science Guy died as well, because the only people who had outside contact were texting, and couldn't check.

Anyways, Billy Mays was Loud, We can't make fun of how creepy someone is if they're dead, and I don't know who the Other guy is.

*RIP*
