My original name was my real nick name. This one has more meaning since I joined the Church of Snorlax.

My name comes from a very dark manga known as Berserk. I have long since stopped watching Anime and reading Manga except for that one. Guts always came to me as the most pure human someone can be, torn between a darker side and you could say a decent one. He always came to me as the one character I related the most with in terms of thought thinking.

(Pronounced Keldin) I got this name backed when I played WoW. It was a random generated name I used for my first character. The friend who got me into the game couldn't remember names at all, so he encouraged me to keep the name when we moved on to other games so he wouldn't have to get used to a different name. Once his family started calling me Kel, for short, it stuck. Even his mom, and my gf call me Kel...  :D

Then why don't you just spell it Keldin so there's no question?

Cause to me it looks like "Sell-Dean."

For some reason I prefer the the way "Celdine" looks over "Keldin", or even how "Cel" looks over "Kel".  The fact that everybody pronounces it wrong stopped bothering me a loooooong time ago.

Dapifer means literally "one who brings food to the table", according to my history teacher back in high skool(with "K") said that in some countries it was used as a title for a steward of the king or a noble household, I liked how it sounds and it's meaning, I used in my very first roleplaying character, back in the days of AD&D, a Paladin named Dapifer Lexerion, in some boards I used the full name, but now I only create accounts as Dapifer.

Thanks, actually Lexerion is an anagram for "Sacred Law" Lex: Law and Eiron: Sacred

Lexeiron sounded akward, so I changed to Lexerion, and that was my first character ever, I always tend to play Knights, that's why the name lived on, but Re-TO already has one three many knights(IIRC =P) that's why I decided to play a character I never use, a ranged weapon character, I hope I can portray it well n_n

Way back when I used Magus, usually followed by something.

After I played Final Fantasy X, I decided Auron was cool, and worth name recognition, so I mixed the two together to form Mauron. (Pronounced moron).

Well, let me see...

Back in early 2006, I was a huge fan of Anthro style art. So anyway, I ended up making my own Anthro character in the end, who I named Rox Silver Fox, this then adapted to become my name on most sites that I am a member of.

Another two names that I go by on the interweb are; AhgoXoruree, which is my Halo Covenant Elite characters name, I now use this for my Youtube account and prior to that it was my Xbox Live Gamertag (Now changed to RoxSilverFox) and the other name is Tequila, which was my nickname throughout most of my high school life.

2002 being the year I switched from Dial-up to high-speed DSL service.

Before then, I only had made ONE previous account on the entire internet, and that was at hotmail.  That has my name in it. :)

The origins of your username?
« Reply #56 on: September 10, 2009, 04:03:00 pm »
I just gotta ask this. Everybody has a username. But does anyone remember the origins of theirs? I am just asking this because I recently remembered the origins of my own (If anyone didn't read it in the Pokemon thread, I nicknamed an Empoleon on my copy of Diamond "King Pingu" and I now use the name myself. The 30? Just a random number lol)

cheatscanner, my very first username, was because I wanted to make a cheatcode website (this was before I knew of gamefaqs..)
JohnnyBlue, my 2nd one, is because I felt like abandoning my first one.
Serge because it fit the compendium.
