CE Tribute
« on: June 06, 2009, 04:41:10 am »
This began as a remix many moons ago.  I orinially wrote it on piano, then transposed that into Reaon, then added some more instruments on the program.  The rest of the details are on the video page.  I hope you guys enjoy it, this is as good as a time as any.

That's pretty sweet, Shee! Did you actually play it on the piano, or use some program to make it? If so, what program? :D

Thanks!  I played it on piano first, then transposed the notes in a program called Reason, which is LOTS of fun!!!

I'll have to post it again when the song is finished.  Thanks again!

I'm not one big on remixes, but I'm really looking forward to this, Shee!

Nice medley! I love remixes and rearrangements that deviate from the original melody slightly, adding a new spin to the original tracks.

I have heard good things about Reason Shee... but is it better than FL studio (or easier to use) and is it free?

Reason, eh? I'll have to try that out someday. I wish I was good with music.

Well played! Funny both sportsman and musicians can "play". Hahaha!

I've never heard of Reason. The biggest free music making program I've found is Jeskola Buzz, though I've never quite got the hang of it. Do you need special hardware like a keyboard and usb cord, or can you do it with your computer alone?

When you finish the song, be sure to tell us!

Thanks for the feedback!  :D

Reason was free......for me.......but no normally it costs a good 3hundo.  I haven't heard of FL studio unless you mean Fruity Loops, which I haven't used.  Reasopn is loads easier with a MIDI controller, but I don't ahve one.  I just plug in the notes straight from teh computer, which take loads longer.

I'll be sure to let y'all know when it's done!
