SPC to MIDI converter not unzipping?

I was looking up information on the SNES sound chip (SPC700) and somebody made a thread that they discoverd a neat tool that converts SPC's to MIDI though sometimes you have to edit the instrument since your sound-set is different then the Super Nintendo's.

I tried downloading it from you guessed it Zophars Domain and my 7-zip extractor won't do it's job saying it "cannot output the .EXE" whatever the hell that means.           


 Anybody know if my zip program is having a glitch or I am not doing something right?

winzip? winrar? There's probably literally dozens of various zip tools...but those three are the most commonly used...Though I have no idea if your problem actually stems from the zipper itself or not...Are you sure your d/l went through all the way properly? You might want to compare the size you got to the size it should be.

I used JZip so my old 7-Zip file manager is messed up.       

I got the SPC to midi working just fine now. Thanks.     I mainly use FireFox now cause Internet Explorer is just too gitchy.    It's like it never got out of beta.

Are there any batch SPC/PSF->MIDI/WAV/MP3/etc converters available? I don't like WinAmp, other than the player linked above, none of the spc players on zophar's site will work for me, and I'd prefer to be able to play files in with all my other music.

If you got Vista then nothing works at Zophars Domain.
