Dirty jokes are just easier to get. They take less words, and there's more room for the art, which is the funny part, IMO.

What they say in the comic should be like commentary to help guide your eyes through the picture the correct way.

It's even harder with motivationals: a specific Title, then Subtitle format, usually commenting on an already widely-recognized picture. Trying to look at it from a different angle and communicate that is a feat in and of itself.

But to make it funny? When it comes to words, less is more. Example:

Look at any sunday comic in the news. Why is it not funny? Usually too many words, not enough expression.

The last comic (for now) is up. If inspiration strikes within the coming weeks or months, there may be more. But I'm really not sure how I feel about supporting a company that won't support it's own customers. Enjoy what's there, I guess, and hopefully the "ending" rings for you.

Well, despite the grim circunstances depicted in your last comic, I enjoyed it just as much as the others.

I really hope you keep working on them. I really feel that what the Compendium needs right now is support from its members to get back on its feet after the seemingly mortal blow dealt by SE.

Great work as always, Mr Bekkler. I'll look forward to whatever pieces you decide to share with us in the future.

That was hilarious Mr. Bekkler. If you do a crossover sometime, you can make a sequel where Phoenix Wright steps in and shouts: "Objection!"

Thanks, guys, I will go ahead and continue the CROH-NO series, and maybe even get some Cross jokes in there. I'm not an expert on Cross though, so ideas there are a bit thinner. Rest assured, though, I've got some punchlines that need setups and setups that need punchlines, and as soon as I'm comfortable with them, I'll sketch out another three or four of these bad boys.

Incidentally, the next series comic will continue where the numbering left off. Comic X will remain as a departure from the norm, and I'll keep that format for later comics that comment on any event or idea that doesn't come from in-game activity, ie. other fangames/art/fiction, compendium events, news, or whatever. Also, the regular number comics are going back to their original size, three per page. The Comic X ones were drawn much larger, and I don't quite like the flow as much.

Should I put these in COMIX or Fan Art?

There's more coming. You can put them where you must, I just figured keeping it organized in one thread would be easier.
