In CE it's said Glenn creates the vanguard somewhere after 600 AD, but that doesn't really add up with the 1000 AD of the original CT, where no Vanguard is present. Does CE play in another timeline or something, or is there another explanation for this?

Basically, between 600 and 1000 AD, nothing can really be different from the original CT. At least I think. I'd like someone to shed some light on this.

I believe any characters introduced in CE there story gets wrapped up at the end so there are no loose ends .

hopefully it's necessary to the game and plot and integrated well enough that the question will be answered in-game? i'm not on the team though, that's just what i think one of them would say.

Uh, in the CT timeline Glenn had yet to return to his timeline to create the Vanguard (which only appears in 1000 AD of CE after certain events take place anyways, I believe) in the first place...In the original (Pre-Entity stepping in) timeline though he definitely didn't...
