Chrono Trigger DS Sprites

Are there any Chrono Trigger DS sprites? If you look closely, the sprites in the DS version are brighter than the SNES / PS versions.

Brighter?  They were a hell of a lot darker for me.

They're not brighter, it's just the way the DS screen is compared to a telly.

I thought the only sprite that was changed was Marle's, since the bright red-orange part of her hair looks more brown now.

So are there sprites for the new enemies in the Dimensional Vortex and the Lost Sanctum?

They look exactly the same as the PS version while played on an emulator. I am quite sure they are exactly the same sprites.

If you play CT DS on a DS lite it will look brighter because the DS Lite has the improved Backlight of the GBA SP where as the regular DS has the crappy old GBA backlight.

My friend and I noticed this when we were both playing Pokemon FireRed and I was using a regular DS. >_<

Well, anyone mind posting a pic of the difference in Marle's hair? I have never seen it since I sadly don't have a DS lol.

If you're playing on an emulator you have to mess around with the options to get the normal color.

actually the sprites are slightly changed. hair colors are more blended, also some coloring is slightly changed.

the differences aren't big but their definately their. in fact it might be worth ripping the sprites.

There are no new sprites in the Dimensional Vortex and Lost Sanctum. There are Ogans, Heckran things, and some very familiar bosses. The only other bosses are Fangbeasts(?) the flying green things in the Black Omen, but a different color and a dark form of the ghost-Cyrus. He's not really Cyrus, though.

All the new enemies are palate swapped sprites with different stats.

I think the only actual new sprites are the Smidges. Spriter's Resource has a sheet with the Smidge walking frames, but no battle or victory/defeat animations. Is there any other site that would have those?

Its the Cyrus ghost sprite from the northern ruins in 1000AD
