FaustWolf's Decisions

*Sided with Medina
*Saved Ayla
*Took on the Heckran (guess it doesn't make a difference? -- see Lord J's post below)

Sorry if this has been brought up before and everyone's already been given an assignment, but I'm curious to know who's made what decisions when it comes to things like siding with (Porre/Mystics/Neutrality) in Chapter 4. There are probably other instances, but it occurs to me that we may find different bugs in different scenarios.

For example, I sided with the Mystics and next thing I knew, Glenn was fighting fierce Porrean opposition who swung their swords with mighty feline vigor. Yes...the Porrean soldiers were producing cat noises when they struck Glenn. I take it this is not supposed to happen...

Each of us should probably be given a decision assignment just like the party assignments.

Neutral sounds like my cup o' tea...though I'm not quite there yet, so I don't know how easy it is to side with one or the other (is it a simple choice or dependent upon certain things you do...?)...

I won't spoil it -- it's the most amazing thing ever in Chapter 4. You're really in for a treat.

So far I've gone with the Mystics and it sounds like V will go neutral. Who wants to take Porre's side? Be careful, because Frog's in for a serious boss battle in that case. Stock up on mid tonics.

Oh, and V, you've got the easiest choice gameplay wise as far as I can tell. Congrats!

I remained neutral (I'm not that much farther than this, however).

The decision made in that chapter forces a branch for quite a few chapters, so yea we definitely want to make sure we do all tries.....the most tested one is whatever the first choice is cause that's the one I accidently hit while playing with the game in fast forward :)

It sounds like we got 2/3 of the choices covered so i'd appreciate it if someone did the last choice.  (we got several more beta testers so V and leno you're find.

I'll probably keep a separate Save State at that point then and do the others afterwards...

I tested out each one before settling on neutral.

Faust, I got the cat noise soldiers when I selected Porre, too.

I updated my post to keep track of my decisions. I'm not sure whether all decisions lead to divergences in the events, but it's probably good to keep track just in case.

Leno's decisions

Mystic Den: Neutral (did try out all three options, continued playing using the neutral choice though).
Pre-historic 1: Saved Ayla
Pre-historic 2: Saved Ayla (can you tell I'm paranoid?)

*Took on the Heckran
That's optional?

At first I went with Fight King Zeal, but then I tried the other option and since it didn't seem to change much of anything immediately besides the warning about Ayla dying, I went with not fighting him in the end (but made another Save State at the decision)...

I think Cedric offers you a yes/no choice just before you take on the Heckran. I'm not completely sure whether the Heckran is optional. I just said "yes" there, and when Marle noted that she possibly changed history by intervening, I figured saying "no" may lead to a different outcome.

I thought Cedric Guardia was a prick, so I had Marle tell him that she didn't know combat. So he left her to get killed by the Heckran. Total jerkwad!

But that poor Heckran didn't stand a chance.
