They had some kind of chat at one point, but it hasn't been used in over a year.

Since I've returned from Korea, there's actually been a new Compendium IRC server up and running, but I haven't done anything with it yet. Instead, I'm working on some other projects.

If there's enough interest, I'll put the information up here, but be warned, there's no services or anything set up yet. As such, anyone can pretend to be anyone and do whatever they want without any ops or admins getting in the way.

If you want to use your own client, the server is either chat.chronocompendium.com or irc.chronocompendium.com. Both point to the same place.

You can just click IRC Chat in the navigation menu to the left of the site. It'll open up an easy to use CGI IRC client in a new window.

Not for the last few weeks. I'm having to set it up again on some different hosting once I finish selling all my belongings on eBay. It'll be back in a few weeks.

I used this on my former Chrono project as a chat section, have a connect widget ready to put in the forums, and the best: it is basically a mix of IRC and Raidcall.
