New Stuff On SE's Chrono Trigger Sites (FANCLUB!!!)

So I was at the library fucking around on Square-Enix's Japanese site (checking out trailers & junk)...and I decided on a whim to check out what was on their Chrono Trigger page and if you check out the Specs section there's this link...

I thought to myself, "Self, that's pretty cool, but I can't understand Japanese, so you had better mosey on over to the NA site, self." Only to find out that there isn't one for us...V_V Here it is thrown into Google...

Apparently you can not only get the new soundtrack there (in case you didn't get it from the preorder), but you can also pick up autographed scores from Mitsuda!!!

Apparently there is or is going to be some kind of download to spruce up your PC's clock. That sounds neat.

I figure if they see a bunch of English-speaking people joining the Japanese Fan Club (I'm still not sure how exactly TO join it unless it's just part of the SE Membership...if that's the case then I'll need to know how to sign up to the Japanese SE Membership...>_>) they'll 1) realize how dedicated we are & 2) maybe friggin make one for us! Though I guess it looks like they still might be building it up...*shrugs*

Now, back to the regular CTDS page...

There is a 2-part interview with Mitsuda as well (with subs) about the new soundtracks. He says "Outskirts of Time" was originally written for a "certain someone" (I guess a sweetheart or something?)

There's also a few wallpapers (nothing too fancy, just old character art with the Chrono Trigger section's theme as a background)...

In the Extras section of the Gameplay portion they misspell Beastiary as Bestiary!

Should this be in the News section? I've never looked into how to post news on the main page, but since the Prerelease stuff just got on there I didn't want to bump it already anyways...

EDIT: Yeah, I think membership is tied to Square-Enix Membership...I got the email verification but I have no idea how to fill out the form after you hit the verification link...V_V If someone wants to translate that page (since it's secure you can't just throw it onto Google)...that'd probably help us all out, yar?

Nice find, V! Heh heh, the fact that there's no English site just means the Compendium is still on top.

Why try to cultivate a Chrono fan club after a game is released unless you're planning to cash in somewhere down the road...?

Okay, the password recovery is difficult. I couldn't get any form of English to work at all.
I finally went and used some Hiragana.

For your own sign up, go here and copy and paste a couple Hiragana characters in the Password Recovery Question.

The next page will ask you to confirm all the information is correct. The LEFT option at the bottom will take you back. The RIGHT option at the bottom is submit. You will get an email if it worked.

The next page you see will have a big banner image with a clipboard and pen on it. It's allowing you to sign up for the E-store. I'm not going to translate this because they usually only accept japanese credit cards.

Congrats, you're a member of the fanclub. Keep your sign in info handy and go searching.

The presents require you to enter your CTDS serial number. I warily wonder if it's Japanese only... But then you seem to be able to get a few things, and there may be more planned.

There's a desktop clock application, which is cute. A calendar background system. But the Soundtrack is an ad for the E-store.
