Blame the wacky overly protective Christians of the time that were freaking out about everything from Rock & Roll to comic books...Everything the youth was into back then was apparently corrupting them...Let's all smoke a bowl & play Chrono Trigger in protest~!!

Listen before we turn this into  a "bash the christians thread" let me explain a few quick things allright?

Their are basically two groups of Chritians out there in todays world in general. 


The first kind tends to preach alot and they often don't practice what they preach behind doors.  And furthermore they are the ones you see on TV that want to shut things down and limit freedom for others "in the name of God" and shove it down your throat.   Those kinds of churches usually end up falling to pieces and I know what I am talking about.

The second kind also have moral values but they usually don't announce it publicy unless asked directly and by the most part they pratice what they believe in but we all know not everyone is perfect.     
If they feel something is unmoral they just leave quietly and they heavily use the.   Love thy neighbor as you would thyself" quote and admit it if they have "sinned"

I believe everyone has to find God in their own way, if they're going to find him at all. No need to press any certain structure of views on them. I personally hate being preached to.

Yeah, Triforce, I didn't mean Christians in general, but many of the ones that were raising protests about the subversion of youth culture were the Christian/Republican elitists...Tripper Gore comes most immediately to mind (though idk if she's Christian...and she's actually Democrat I guess? whatever)...

well, if we started catering to things people might take offense to, you might as well spoiler the whole board, because anyone can take offense to anything for any illogical or logical reason. To take offense at the mere conversation of religion is ridiculous. Nobody is pushing any views on anybody else, they're just talking about religious references. now, I could understand censoring/spoilering it if someone was pushing one set of views or another on somebody, or multiple persons, but I don't think that's the case here. Of course, the mods might feel differently about it. I just felt I'd share my input before they got to it.
