For me, I'd be happiest either...

A.) Being wherever Harle is.(Shut up about corniness, I do things old fashioned. Get between me and Harle and you'll end up with a missing hand before you even realize it  :lee: )
or
B.) 1000 AD. Something I always found interesting about it, not sure what... Maybe it's that it has the most towns/interactable people in it in Trigger? That's all I can think of. Plus it'd also be nice to be with Crono, Marle, Lucca and as painful as it would be once Lynx and Harle come in on them(Lucca for sure, not sure about Crono or Marle), I'd team up with those two and procede to not give a crap about Lynx's orders but moreso what Harle's up to. I'd be to Harle what Harle is to Lynx(minus the whole betrayal and help lead to downfall thing).

So I guess perfect mix of the two would be around 1001 AD - 1004 AD and on.

Didn't know it was a joke. My bad. Sorry if that made you feel bad. Old issue, anyways.

Zeal.  It's beautiful, tranquil, and incredibly calm when the Queen doesn't get stuck in a random PMS cycle and destroy the kingdom.  I'd totally slide down that waterfall.
And freeze to death at the bottom, being all wet.

How could that NOT be a joke!?

Anyways, The End Of Time, or 4000 AD. Just to see what it's like there.

4000 AD...

Wow, serious coincidence. An original RPG Forum I'm part of is set in the year 4000, but not in the Chronoverse.

I'd chose the End of Time with the gates still open. Then I could travel to any time period and sample all their delicicies! Muahahaha I'll be the phantom gourmet across all time!

...ahem, yeah.

Does that choice not directly conflict with the notion of being "stuck" in a time period and thus the premise of this topic?  Heh.  Too late to change your choice now; you shall spend the rest of eternity wandering between three rooms, losing your mind, but ever increasing in magical power.

I like the El Nido Archipelago, the area has a cultural flair, that would need to be developed.  It would therefore need more people and bigger cities.  That should all come with time though, so let's say... El Nido 1700 A.D.

The only problem I can think of, is that it seems like a quite tropical area with no Winter... and I love Snow.

I'll take this work or 1000 AD. Time can be a fickle thing but I would not mind being stuck in a world of knights and honor for an instant.
I would miss the internet though.

12,000 B.C.

Schala needs a friend up in Zeal other than Janus, you know. And if there is any Ocean Palace mess, I'd save her.

...

Don't look at me like that. I could do it! Really, I could! :(

I'm going to be utterly original and say: 2300 AD, as is in the game: a ruinous windswept land.

Why? because I would rather have a life that I would have to work to keep, that builds character, than to have a life where everything is handed to me.

Very interesting, idioms, but isn't there virtually nothing to be handed out in 2300?

Don't you mean you'll end up without a hand? Rather than "Doo doo dee do, walking down the street. Holy crap is that someone's missing hand? Now how did I end up with THIS?!"

more on topic. i'd live in 600ad and kill mystics. hell yes.

I thought that was the point I was trying to make. Perhaps you should go re-read my post? lol.

Hah. Well, I was just wondering how easy it'd be to survive then. I mean, there's little vegetation and the community is kinda worthless. But I guess the challenge is what you're going after...
