sunset over imdahl, its free and short

Sunset over imdahl is a fun 1-3 hour "all depends on the player" is an rpgmaker rpg that was inspired by Chrono Trigger. I actually thought it was alot of fun, especially from the approach it took. To bad the author never got around to make that sequel he wanted too.

Anyway, check it out. Here is a working download http://www.caiman.us/scripts/fw/f3361.html .

I've tried it, but never really got into it. It's amazing how the creator used panorama's for maps though, having made it in RPG Maker that's quite a feat.

This is awe-inspiringly beautiful, and -- do I see a recolored Schala sprite in there? Fascinating, I'll check this out.

I should mention one more thing, there is one part with a dog, that everyone seems to get stuck on. When you get to that part, and if you get stuck, go into every building, "bar I think" a the dog should be there.

Had a chance to take this for a spin, and it comes highly recommended from this FW. Wow! It has a really, really promising story so far, and I'm honestly more motivated to get deeper into this than I am with Final Fantasy XII. From what I've researched, it was translated from a foreign language, but I haven't noticed any terribly glaring grammatical errors. The major downside I'm seeing is that the font is barely readable.

Ah, the backgrounds! Sehr schön, sehr schön. Now if it just had a Xenogears battle system, this would be perfect.

Isn't this true with any game? I thought the battle system from that game was the most cohesive and all-encompassing battle system I've ever seen. And it only got better once you got the Gears and started doing combos with them. The Combo and Deathblow systems were just amazing.
