Roms cracked copies are nice to have but I always try and get a copy of the actual game.

The fact that there's new content - new meaningful content - added justifies the purchase, even if you're emulating.  This is our one chance as Chrono fans to send Square Enix a clear mandate for a sequel. Cash speaks volumes more than an Internet petition.

Totally agreed with FaustWolf. My Japanese copy was shipped yesterday and I'm playing the rom to help update our CTDS page, so everything's fine for me, I think.

I got my game paid for, i paid it off over 2 months ago, I've tried the rom to check some things, like the nintendo power said the lag after battles is compairable with the PSX version... this is a lie.. the game runs smother than the SNES version XD.

i even stop playing the japanese rom, because if i beat it on it, i might not want to play though it again when i get the game.

This will be Square's excuse for not making anything else Chrono related.

If nightmare's right, I'm gonna go insane. But big losses? Come on, it's gonna do a little damage now, but in the long run, I think it'll remedy itself.

The whole point of making the game was to create a census to revive the series, though. Now, what with recent events, that might not appear to happen anyways, but I think the point behind making a totally new Chrono title is to center on a new group of people forming an everlasting friendship and memories, and to help stop a parasite menace or some other godlike evil.

Well, let's not get too ahead of ourselves: we don't even know if Square had any real intentions to make a new sequel, this big upset is probably more of a fiscal thing than anything. It always pisses companies off to know that someone's getting a free product, cause ultimately it's the company that ends up paying the price.

Well sooner or later I'll buy the actual game. But yeah I guess this kinda sucks for them, it's really, REALLY worth the money. CT DS is awesome.

I kinda feel like this leak might push some people, who were previously undecided, to buy it for themselves...

JUST FREAKING BUY IT, PEOPLE.  IT'S WORTH IT.

Besides, downloading ROMs and not owning the game is illegal (or it is if you don't delete the ROM within 24 hours).  It's one thing if there's no English version available (ie - Mother 3 or Radical Dreamers), because your ONLY option is to download it, but for pete's sake, just go buy the darn thing.

They're forgetting that people are downloading it to spoil others or prevent themselves from being spoiled, it's eagerness. A lot of those people are gonna buy it when it comes out.

While I do agree that it's eagerness that's causing some people to download the ROM, there are others that may take this as an opportunity to save $40 and there may be a couple blokes out there that have been hit so hard by the spoilers and new content, that they've changed their mind...

If I were Square, I'd be pissed too...

I bet you half of those who download it - at least - will not buy it.  Just you wait and see.
