Meh CC deserved a higher spot imo. At least in the top 30. But I guess that spot's reserved for Trigger somewhere.

like a month ago I DID see that Chrono Trigger was on the top 20...
Mario Bros was in the 1st place, and Tetris on the 2nd

yes... I'm totally sure that's the same Top 100
I voted for Chrono Trigger and A Link to the Past =)

PS: sorry if my english is not so well... lol

Um, I don't think it's a voting thing, though...I'm pretty sure it's an accumulative score based on their ranking system (you get to score games on their little scale thingy-ma-bobber)...I personally only gave CC a 7.6 I think...I bet FFTactics is up there as well...I'm bettin Top 10...but that may be hopeful...Ya gotta remember this isn't a list of best RPGs or anything, this is all games of all time. I mean the games mucking about back near CC were football games from like '05...

You can't count on anyone to give a fair top 100 anymore. For the sake of nostalgia, they always give the #1 spot to Tetris or Super Mario Bros. Sure, those games were fantastic and entertaining, but really, it's just getting annoying.

you're right... as I said, it was like a month ago, so I didn't remember...
but I'm pretty sure that Mario Bros was on the 1st place, at least the last time I checked out...

They factor in popularity quite a bit--hence the reason games like Tetris and Super Mario are always at the top.

They do this yearly, right? Where has CT been in the past? I always thought that it was around FF7 (which I expected to be in the top 20, but whatever). I'm expecting CT to be in the top 10 too.

I don't know how to say this, but... almost everything I said was wrong lol
I was confused with this...
anyway, I'm hoping that CT remains (a least) in top 20

I mean, maybe Mario Bros this time is not in the fisrt place...
maybe I rate those games but that didn't change anything...
maybe I'm a n00b...
and maybe (just maybe) Pong rulz!

PS: there's no need to be sarcastic, thanks =)

CT last I checked was definetly top ten. Numbers that go in my head, 7, 6, and 4. Possibly 3, but I highly doubt that one. But the first three numbers I am much more sure of.

CC deserved better... but I will admit I enjoyed Chrono Trigger more. And this is coming from someone who's only played the PSOne Port XD

Chrono Trigger is Number 2.  That's pretty good, considering it was one-upped by Ocarina of Time.

Chrono Cross should have done better, but then again, Resident Evil 4 was the "Best game ever" in the last IGN best game list I looked at (back when RE4 was new,) so I would not take this seriously.

Wow, CT did phenomenal--top 10 is pretty impressive, but top 2? Looks like the IGN readers got that right.

Well, I guess everyone that likes RPG's knows Chrono Trigger. It definitely deserves the title of best game ever made in my book. But unfortunately that spot's reserved for Cross. I enjoyed that this little tidbit more then Trigger. Though I can't really give Trigger the 2nd place either. Guess they have to share the title.

Anyway, I generally don't really pay a lot of attention to these kind of things. It's not all that trust worthy, and anyway, the only thing that matters is if I like it or not. Whether other people like it or dislike it, that's fine anyway. Gotta say though I was impressed how many fans there are after so many years. I was very surprised after discovering the Compendium and CCrisis. Though I gotta say Crisis has disappointed me.

Guess that's my two G for now.
