When given her height, she is underweight. And would probably not be able to stand.

Let alone have those boobs.

Yeah, she's underweight, but I don't think she'll be unable to stand.  LOL
In RD, she can even walk on a bambo scaffold floating above the water.
Perhaps they just want to make a swift/agile thief character, as light as a cat...

If she can't stand, how about Leena:
5'5"/166cm
93lbs/42kg

And it seems most CC characters are lighter than their looks,

Especially the females...

Um... don't want to throw together something right now. Almost the end of the period.

Um... Japan has problems with realistic weights.

What? Are you so unfamiliar with American comic books? It's for males (for the most part) by males (for the most part).

Realistic proportions are boring!

Aye, realistic proportions are boring, but when the characters don't look disproportionate (like Leena), yet their weight:height ratio is absurd, something's wrong. I mean, isn't a petite girl around 130lbs if they're 5'9"? And at 5'8", Zappa looks like he'd weigh over 200lbs...I'm sure it's all oversight, but that's still pretty terrible.

Zappa's just top-heavy from working the forge though, isn't he?

I guess--that'd correspond more to his given weight: a large-framed man at 5'8" could be anywhere from 152lbs-172lbs. But he doesn't look large to me--he looks pretty hefty, and damn muscular, so I still wouldn't be too surprised if his weight is off too.

But look at Serge. 5'11 or something and 128 lb? I'm 5'8'' and 123, so that might not be saying much...

I know that when female comic book characters get posted in threads like these, it's usually to illustrate how out of proportion their breasts are, but the thing stands out to me in that picture is Psylocke's huge damn head.

There a few others with better heads, just look up Greg Horn.
He is known for his style.

Yeah, I could have found a better pic to show the wackiness that Psylocke's proportions (I was more going for her skinniness) can get, but I liked that the pic showed some of the others as well (wtf is going on with Bishop in that pic?? for instance).

That's not really an example of American comic books, but more a fantasy artist doing comic book characters...same difference though, I guess...same point anyways? I always loved Julie Bell (her hubby, Boris Vallejo is good too), myself...

Bishop, right. I thought that was Apocalypse.
