Charaters will speak in colors.

I thought of an Idea, "Why don't I make each PC speak in a different color, like Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma."

So I checked with an old topic and found the post Justin made 11 months ago, But there was only 6 colors I could use, as Black doesn't look good. So i did some tinkering and made a color change to a lighter hue.

Crono - Red - Mode 51 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9
Marle - Light Blue  - Mode 56 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9
Lucca - Purple -  Mode 55 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9
Frog - Green - Mode 52 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9
Robo - Yellow -  - Mode 53 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9
Ayla - Pink (lighter hue of Purple)  - Mode 55 - Param 1 - 9 Param 5 - 1 Param 8 - 5 Param 4 - 1
Magus - Dark Blue - Mode 54 - Param 1 - 9 Param 2 - 1 Param 3 - 5 Param 4 - 9

Note: Some colors could be refined

Not bad, too bad the purple blends in with the menu.  Other then that, looks pretty cool

Hm... An interesting idea, but it doesn't look so good if you try to combine it with certain window colors... CT doesn't seem to have the right formatting for something like that. It's a good idea, but I don't think it works very well... I'd prefer the regular white. :/

Portraits would allow you to differentiate between characters more easily, as well. :) But that probably won't happen until CT DS and even then the portraits don't look all that good unless they're in the menu... >.> But eh. Keep working on it if you wish. I think that the colors look a bit funky when everyone else is talking in white, but oh well...

This looks good Shinrin :)  If you don't mind I may utilize this in CE (not for characters, but for something else....)

Hm I'm unable to reproduce this.  I assume those commands are memcopies?  I only have 3 parameters and then the 4th seems to be the string index?  Where do I put these?  in object 0 or right before the dialogue?
