"The Chrono Compendium Podcast"
« on: September 10, 2008, 11:21:12 pm »
I had an idea today.

A lot of us have been here for years, and some very interesting occurences have happened. Considering people have the tools needed, why don't we do a podcast? Like, a one hour program of a few members discussing Chrono related subjects, or anything in general. We could do it once a month, and post an audio file in the forums for everyone to hear.

Here's what I'm thinking, We have one or two "Hosts", with a few other members on there, switching it up every time. A group call is made on Skype, someone records it via audio ripping program (Audacity or whatever they'd like to use), somene serves as the editor to delete voice lag or silence and wrap it up nice & pretty, and voila. Topics could include Fan projects, theorizing, and world appenings thaat don't even have to be Chrono related.

This isn't anything official, just throwing the idea out there. Thoughts?

It'd be nice if we could prevent it from becoming a sausage fest, so we'd need female volunteers.

This plce is definitely lacking in the female sense of things. I can only think of teaflower, though I could've sworn Faustwolf was a woman for the longest time. ._.;;

It'd be hard to keep going for a long time, due to Square never releasing anything new for the Chrono series. The DS port is not new. Most stuff dealing with Chrono has been discussed to death. I hope your more creative than I am :P

  • Fan Projects
  • CT news
  • CT theory
  • Character of the week
  • Remixes(that a good three minutes this one)
  • Many more

It could easily be 10-15 minutes twice a month, plan out about 3-4 months of stuff then see how well its received and decide from there.

Oh I see this is going to be more of community chat and not just Chrono chat. That makes a lot more sense. Ignore me anyway I'm always negative :P

Any one can plan it but who should voice should this happen? I hate skype myself, plus my voice is not near as awesome as the rest of me, may seem shallow but we would need attractive voices.

I have a keen ability to make myself sound like multiple people, maybe I could do this by myself.

But I hate my voice recorded, it never sounds like me.

The voice you hear coming out of your mouth it never what it sounds like, what you hear is distorted by the sinus cavities in your head.

I'm incredibly shy and terrible in conversations, so I'm not sure I could do much.

userplane or stickam...? That way it could be video & regular chat too...I dun even have audio, though, oddly enough I have a working mic...I'd just like a Compendium CHAT, really...*shrugs*

The DS port is not new.

Just because it's not a new installment doesn't mean it couldn't be discussed...besides, there's new content.
