Mine didn't it was solely the guide, I saw it at a Barnes and Nobles.

Yeah, I think mine came with a cheesy zombie flic... I'll post the name of the movie when I can remember it.

Also, I should have specified.
Gun means you can ONLY have the amount of ammo that you can realistically carry. No Resident Evil stuff where you mysteriously have 50 clips of bullets, keep in mind you have to reload. Once your gun runs out, it's down to fists!

I think the Matrix showed that the body is fully capable of holding massive amounts of guns & ammo if necessary (hey, that whole bomb bag could have been filled with MORE weapons!)...>_>

Plus, it's zombies, you'd just need to continually bulldoze your way to weapons & tool shop stores and to supermarkets every once in a while too...Eventually everyone would just carry a weapon and we'd all know to shoot anyone looking suspicious who wasn't holding a weapon. Murder/Rapes would be on the rise, but we'd be safer from zombies for the knowledge of it.

You raise a very point there V_Translanka, and it still falls into the whole "ammo you can carry thing."

The axe sounds the best to me.  I recall someone had mentioned that in Resident Evil, fighting up close sucked.  I'd like to point out also that this was done with a dinky little knife, not an axe or a sword.  Swords sure as hell don't need to be reloaded, and you can find an axe pretty easily if you manage to break it zombie # 243's neck.  Now, if it's a 28 days//weeks later kind of deal, I'd go more for the gun.

What if it's a fireman's axe (eg. Metal) ? Then you don't have to worry 'bout it breaking.  8)
