So are Serge and company the bad guys? I mean, the planet says it doesn't want humans. But that maybe TimeDevourer trying to trick the party. Anyway, so is Serge good or bad?

Humans are an enemy to the planet, but Serge and co are trying to save it, so they are good guys, at least in that respect.

And really, the game takes shots at both. The humans did relieve the planet of Lavos, but are tearing it up with industrialism (perhaps remedied in the future), while the Dragon God is a bit venal. However, the title of the last chapter, "The Planet's Dream is not yet Over," seems to reference the defeat of the Time Devourer, and as Serge undertakes this, I'd call him the hero.

The party is definitely intended to be portrayed as good. The creators, did, however, lay in a few environmentalist themes.

Note that we don't really know what the Planet thinks. The ones who accuse the Humans are just the Dragon God (possessed by the Time Devourer) and some random Dwarves. The Planet never stopped helping Crono's and Serge's parties, even if that harms the Reptites and the Demi-Humans...

I don't think that I could classify many of the CC cast as being explicitly 'good' or 'evil'. Many of them are on the quest for their own selfish (and/or stupid) reasons and goals (mainly everyone wants to get ahold of the FF). I think the only clearly identified entity is the Devourer of Time, which is more obviously evil than Lavos was.

The question is really a matter of opinion. Just because the planet and the dwarves and the dragons think that humans, including Serge and Co, are evil doesn't necessarily mean that they are. Just because they did a few good things doesn't necessarily mean that they are good either.  After all, Lavos evolved humans and gave them magic, but does that make him good? Crono and Co killed an entire future, but does that make them evil? The answers to all of these, of course, lie somewhere in between.

Crono and company admits to being bad guys because they destroyed the future axis and changed history. I dont believe they are bad guys just guility of saving the future and changing the timeline. Humans are actually good guys because Crono led the humans in they future to rebuild after the day of lavos.

Umm...I think you misread that part in the Dead Sea with Miguel. The ghosts are saying Serge is the bad guy.

But how can we be sure that serge is the bad guy just because the ghost say so. They could be trying to place the blame on Serge. THis is because they know that Serge might merge with the time devourer in 11020AD. Or maybe sooner and turn El Nido into the dead sea when they merge.

I don't dissagree with you, but I wanted to clairfy that the ghosts didn't blame themselves for anything.

Meh.

Firstly, no one's blaming anyone. Lucca states in her letter that maybe the CT Kids made some bad changes along with the good ones as well. They say Serge killed the future. They're right. And they have all the right to blame him.

Secondly, in 1020 A.D. Serge MIGHT merge with the TD. CC is different in the point that Serge actually has a choice. He could either save the Planet or make it go boom.

Thirdly, El-Nido is the island chain near Porre. The Sea of Eden was, or will be, or both, El-Nido in the future. After Chronopolis goes back, that entire section of sea is called El-Nido, and only the sea surrounding the few meters around Chronopolis is the Sea of Eden.

It's not Serge's fault for existing tho. It's Belthasar's and Kid's. They are the ones who let him live. He should have died, it's Kid's fault for not using her Chrono Trigger but instead taking him out before he was supposed to die.
