There is a program called Pivot but is only for sticks animations I made a Chrono Stick fight and a Phantasy Stick RPG Battle but is too bad to upload it9Is freeware and u can convert then to swf and gif)

Ok you got macromedia flash... best program out there and it's what I got... actually Adobe Flash now.. ANYWAY

Try searching liveswif, actually I think it's livswif. It's a watered down version of Flash, but it will do what you need it to.

Very handy for those new peeps on the block who don't want to pay.

If you're a programmer, it's pretty easy to use haXe to code together flash animations, especially if you don't mind reading through the ActionScript reference docs to figure the libraries out.

Seems as though LiveSwif discontinued, and OpenSwif hasn't progressed in 2 years.
