What's your "Worst game Ever"?
« on: June 12, 2008, 11:01:41 am »
This thread is for sharing what games you loathe and wish to never play through again. WHat made it bad for you? Gameplay? Graphics? Plot? talk about it here.

And in my opinion, worst game I've ever played...

I tried to trade it back in to Gamestop, but they wouldn't let me! Now it sits in a drawer, reeking in it's own failure.... ugh..

I can't think of many bad games...due to them being so bad they are completely forgettable, and I forget them quickly.  Though I faintly recall "Glover" for N64 being a real stinker.  A platforming game that starred a Glove.

I've heard the Grandia series to be quite good, though. I've never played it however, i'm just going by ear.

What did you not like about Grandia II? I have not played through very much of it yet, but some of my die hard Grandia fans say that II was the best one.

As for myself, probably the worst game I ever played was Unlimited Saga. I could deal with the static nature of the towns and such, I am used to that in many of the RPG and Simulation games, and the voice acting was actually decent, but the approach to moving around dungeons was very boring, and the fact that you could not run from battles made it extremely difficult. I remember dying at a scripted battle not far into the game and was never able to get passed it because of the characters they gave me to use. I went to trade it in and it was worth next to nothing (and this was the next day). The guy working the counter said he could have told me how bad of a game it was if he had been there when I bought it.

Ah, that makes more sense. I do not know if I would call it the worst game, but it was definitely not nearly as good as the first Alundra. Did you like the original Alundra game?

You mean so that it appears as text?

When you use the hyperlink command you get the following without the spaces:

[ url ] [ /url ]

Enter your text in between the brackets: ]text[

Enter your url after the first url in the brackets: [ url=whatever your url is ]

For example, your link to that site would then appear like this, with this being what was entered between the brackets.

Just preview it before you post it to make sure it linked correctly.

I played Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on the Gamecube when I was younger, and I loved those games. Then I went and got all excited about Shadow the Hedgehog, and I was exteremely dissapointed. The graphics were too blocky, controls were crap and the voice acting was horrible. I couldn't even follow the storyline. At some times it did keep the classic Sonic speed, and it was fun for about 10 seconds, and then it was interrupted by having to look for bullets.

Though I have to admit, the whole "Good vs Bad" power/aura thing was a little cool. But still, the game could've been so much better.

Oh well, I'm just hoping Sonic Rush is good.

The Bioware Sonic RPG (Sonic and the Dark Brotherhood) looks quite good.  If Bioware is doing it, I'm not too worried, actually.

Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Boo? A Sonic RPG?... Ooh, even if Bioware is doing it.... Something outside the action platformer genre might no do so well. Remember Sonic Battle? Sonic Shuffle? Ugh.

Sounds decent, though.
