He's not a kitty, if that's what you're getting at. Depending on the scenario, however, he has a couple of non-human "conditions."

Lynx has a more human like appearance in RD.  (He has a whisker-like mustaches.)  However, he uses magic, so he may be a Mystic.

But don't Serge and Kid also use magic in RD? I'm not sure as for Kid, but I remember seeing (well, reading) Serge casting one.

Yes, Kid can cast magic. In the scenario 'Kid and the Sunflower' she casts some fireballs.

Yeah, I don't see why you'd have to be a Mystic to cast magic...Crono & Co. did it regularly...and so does Gil/Magil/Magus in Radical Dreamers. No Mysticism there...

Did anyone notice that one robot in CC kinda looks like it has the face of the RD Lynx on it's chest? The one that doesn't die...Grobyc helps you out with it right before he joins up...I forgot the name of it...

Quote from: Spekkio
Long before you were born...
...there was a kingdom where magic
   flourished.
   Everyone there could use it!

But in time, people began to abuse
their powers. It got so bad that no
one was allowed to use magic except
   wizards.

Did Lynx encounter Spekkio at the End of Time?  After the fall of Zeal, humans stopped using magic, but many Mystics display innate magical talent in 600 and 1000 AD.

In Chrono Trigger, the time travelers are the only humans to use magic who did not originate in Zeal.  Of Course Magil and Kid can use magic; they are both magical innates born in Zeal.  Serge's "talent" is an anomaly which warrants further discussion.

But there is also the pseudo-magic of the Elements...and the magical abilities of Sneff and Guile to think about...

I remember seeing Sneff saying somewhere that he learned magic by eating a berry an ogre gave him. Maybe eating that special berry triggers the same effect has Spekkio's gift... Or, -it just came to my mind- perhaps this "ogre" was actually Spekkio?

Mmh, well my post is a bit off-topic... But if Sneff met Spekkio (that's only a guess though), Lynx could also have met the God of War, especially since the RD Lynx is a great war lord or something.

Wasn't that only for the cat trick? Also, I, for some reason, always thought he was talking about Sprigg...or maybe the monster in the Dimensional bend thingy...I don't know...Sprigg was the closest person I remember in the game having anything to do with anything close to a 'berry'.

Now that's a solid theory. Spekkio very well might make his presence known to a great warlord such as Lynx.

Would Spekkio assist someone who is undeniably evil?

Good question. I prefer to think of Spekkio as more of a force of nature than a force for "good." He recognizes power in others and assists them. What they do with what they have and what he gives them is up to them. Sorta like the Triforce in Legend of Zelda.

A bit off topic:

Is Lynx Wazuki in RD or is he like a totally different Demi-Human with no connections with FATE? Yup, I haven't played RD yet. Gota find the ROM >.>

Lynx in RD is not Wazuki nor Serge's father. He's just some kind of aristocrat or army commander or something like that. Actually, he's not even a Demi-Human, but a normal man.

...in the main scenario at least.
