Wad up, I am new!

Well, after playing CT recently it got me in the mood to get a hold of a sequel. Now I despise Chrono Cross because it killed off my favorite characters: Crono,Marle,and Lucca.

Now, I looked and saw this site was doing Crimson Echoes. After seeing a demo on youtube I had to check it out.

So when my brother moves out and I am allowed to run emulators I plan to play the full version when it comes out.

So as you can tell, I am a huge CT fan and to begin with one question! How is Crimson Echoes going?

Well it's just that sequels for me to like them needs familiar things and the new characters wasn't it for me.

Placid, the reason for the no emulators is that my brother blames them for ruining our first computer. I secretly had one for the week I was waiting for my CT to arrive in the mail. (Did i mention I somehow lost CT for playstation so I had to buy a new one?)

Ha, your brother's just trying to hide the fact that he was pr0ning up your compy. lol

I <3 my SNES, GBA & NDS emulators too much!

Crono & Marle aren't dead for certain!! Lucca, yeah...but also...seriously? Marle was your favorite character? I smell LIES!!! :P

There's also Radical Dreamers for official sequels...but, again, you'll need an emulator...and it's gameplay is quite different than the others...there's sort of original cast in it...kinda...hard to explain, I guess...especially w/o spoiling it...

Final Fantasy doesn't do that! Technically, neither does Breath of Fire (outside of the names Ryu & Nina)...I'm sure there are more series that don't follow that path too...I mean, did you want something like X-2? There's familiar characters in THAT...HA! (personally I was fine w/X-2 though...*shrugs*)

Well V.

Crono and Marle are actually my two faves from that game.... gotta have a guy fave and girl fave don't we?

Anywho if you want me to get technical ff7 is my favorite final fantasy and it has multiple prequels and sequels.

Now, can someone now answer the question of the Crimson Echoes thing?

The skeleton is finished. Presumably when Chrono'99 gets back, flesh will be added, and then the final stage of development will commence.

I am new here myself, just joined aournd a couple of weeks ago. Im sorry you dont like Cross, but then, nobody can please everybody, right..? although i give you my warmest welcome. Have a great time here at the Compendium!!  :D
