so friday was my schools talent show, and being my last year (not really, im going back but its just going to be a victory lap) i wanted to do something special, something that means alot to me. so in the end it was obvious i would pull one of mitsudas pieces from my set of tabs (and by that i mean the internet).

The beginning part with the sunglasses was just a joke, disregard that part
comments are appreciated! especially on the video itself, it makes us look cooler
and dont forget to rate

ps. the guy on the right is me, and my friend gord is on the left, hes the one who added the solo

Aw, from your vague comment here I was thinking it was going to be a play performance based on part of the game...:P

Extension of YouTube Comment:

Anyways though, this is still pretty cool...My only thought about the glasses, being such a big Chrono dork I obviously am was teh SunShades & MoonGlasses...Also, maybe it was because it was more difficult or maybe your friends was just not as familiar w/his part...but either way, his lil solo made up for anything off...also loved the thumbs up at the end. :D

It'd be cool if you guys could actually record it (though I do love the random murmurings of the cameraman & the audience or w/e...>_>). Shorten it up a bit and mebby put it on OCR? I wonder if it's different enough for them to accept...I know how they're supposed to be pretty picky buggers now...

we talked about that awhile back, we probably will once we find spare time. Gord is pretty familiar with protools and lots of different editing software so im sure he can edit the sound enough and add a few extra parts to make it different.
i can play the part he does perfectly! not the solo though

Very cool! Was anyone in the crowd familiar with the piece?

Excellent work. I too was expecting you to recite lines verbatim from Demiforce's translation, but I'm more than happy to settle for a well-done guitar ensemble.

Ack! Now I want someone to make a play interpretation of some part of the Chrono series (MINUS stupid costumes of course...US cosplay=BAD, after all...)!!!

a radical dreamers reinactment would be paramount, but noone in my school would know whats going on. because to answer your question radical_dreamer, no, im pretty sure noone in the crowd had heard that song prior to us playing it. it actually came to me as a big surprise when i found out gord had played cross before. i showed him a recording of me playing epilogue from chrono trigger, and told him he would never guess what game its from. he said 'is it from chrono cross?' which is odd because epilogue doesnt actually appear in cross, but i guess alot of mitsuda's work transends into one another.

It'd still be cool. Heck, it might be even better if the people who were in it weren't familiar w/the characters or story. It'd, of course, be a lot more interpretive, but I don't think there's anything wrong w/that...Especially if you're gonna add Crono...having a "mute" on stage might not be the best idea...>_>

thats why ive always wondered how awkward it would be if they remade chrono trigger and used voices rather than text. id be guessing that chrono would make alot of grunting noises of something :|

Since it'd just be interpretive, you could probably just give him a few lines...

Man I keep missing cool threads. I am slacking at the Compendium lately. Thank god for the front page news or I would have missed this.

Excellent work. Tis a shame that no one knew what the song was, or had any idea what series the song came from. Oh well. It's HS, what do you expect.
