(It's okay, I thought it was funny, Boo :()

AS FAR AS ANALYSIS GOES... you do find the secret Nu itchy spot in Zeal. Perhaps you actually are touching the Nu in a way it doesn't like in an attempt to get items or something. Can you get the Nu before that?

Yeah, you can get it as soon as you can cross the Zenan bridge in 600AD.

i completely forgot about the NU having the ticklish spot...

perhaps the NU in the cursed forest wasn't ticklish, just like some humans aren't...

so when crono and company tried to activate his ticklish spot, and didn't work, the nu was sort of turned off by it.  i mean, if someone came up to me and tried to tickle me, i sure would be... weirded out...

Why would the party try to tickle the Nu? Especially before they find that spot...and was it a 'tickle spot'?

No it was an "itch-spot", wasn't it?  As in the Nu had an itch it couldn't quite reach...

Right...

This makes me wonder what all of the Nu are doing in their respective places anyways...Perhaps they're all looking for specific items? The Nu in 65,000,000BC has the Third Eye & later the same Nu (/debatable) has one of the Rocks (Silver?). The one in 600AD is pretty much literally on top of 1/2 of the Masamune. Then there's the one in the pyramid, of course...the one in 2300AD is w/Belthasar & the Epoch...Hmmm...I wonder? Could Belthasar have been trying to achieve time travel in order to acquire such items of power? Perhaps this is even a way in which so much Dreamstone was found!

I'm pretty sure they are just fun creatures that the programmers made up that kept some good items. You know, like in Final Fantasy and the Fat Chocobo. Or perhaps they do have some strange relation to the flow of time. Maybe there must be a Nu in a time period for you to be able to travel there.

Oh that's an interesting question: Do Nu exist all the time or only in significant times in the Entity/Planet's life?

Actually it was "The Perfect Nu-backscratching spot", but it doesn't really matter anyway.

Doesn't really matter?

Did it ever occur to you that this particular nu could in fact be the fabled entity? "The Perfect Nu Backscratching Point" a clever metaphor for unlocking all the juiciest secrets of the Chronoverse? We can't ignore these details as "insignificant" or "really really dumb"! EVERY PIXEL COUNTS!

Well, I don't know if I mentioned it here (possibly it was elsewhere), but I think that the Nus were chronically displaced (if not manipulated otherwise) by Belthasar to be his time travel test subjects.

Also, maggiekarp...WHAT DID I JUST SAY!?!?

:P

Maybe the Nu's are in fact a reference to the Smurfs. I mean you gotta admit, they're blue. And the Zeal people have blue hair, maybe they worshipped the Smurfs.
