DICTATORSHIPS man! What is your point here? I hope you say that they were removing freedom from people, but you are all for removal of guns, so what do you like for the US?

What I've heard is is that before a militaristic dictatorship, a rule often imposes a strict gun removal policy of the citizens.

Because it leaves the citizens unable to defend themselves. The purpose of the Second Amendment is not protection from criminals or wild animals, or to allow sustinance hunting: it's to give the people a means of defending themselves from the government.
