Any of those done by Chrono Trigger Symphonic. I think they raised the bar to such an impossibly high standard that no other Chrono remix can compare. Hands down, it's their songs. Though it's tough to pick the best. Maybe 'Schala and the Queen'; or 'To Far Off Times.' What other remixes that you know actually have a singer singing lyrics in English/Japanese, rather than just a synth choir or something?

Anyway, their stuff is good enough to be in a movie. Without question.

I'll second Daniel Krispin on Chrono Symphonic. Darkest Omen, Blue Skies Over Guardia, Frog's Intervention, and Darkness Dueling are super highlights in addition to the ones Daniel posted, but the list could go on and on. If you're a Chrono fan, you owe it to yourself to give the album a listen!

Ah! And Denadoro Climb. That's Chrono Break overworld music if I've ever heard it...

Must...stop listening - to Chrono Symphonic...Ahem. Blue Magic's Tower of Bad Dreams, a take on the Dead Sea ~ Tower of Ruin theme, is probably my fave non-Symphonic remix.

I've always loved Children of the Monkey Machine's work on the Chrono stuff. I mean, redoing the future world map theme? Awesome. Ocean Palace Disaster was also wicked cool. And, of course, his works on Magus' Theme really brought out that sinister, dark edge that I identify with Magus.

I also like the Compendium version of abg's Lavos vs. Jenova...djpretzel's Revival Day Impoetus (CT OCR)...Pretty much all of Claado Shou's stuff for Crimson Echoes, Daknit, Bard of Tarot's Lost In the Cross (CC OCR), Ailseen's Knights Come Marching Home (CT & FFIX OCR)...and I don't remember where I got it from...but bLiNd's Ruined World was good too...maybe it was a remix for...something?
