I've only emulated the first one...a few years back...I got through a few levels. It was a nice take on the genre...

Have the first one emulated, and I own dual strike for the DS.

Well, firstly, RD would be an SNES ROM and yeah, I wouldn't think it'd be hard to find...SNES ROMs are a dime a dozen...I bet they're even pre-patched now, right? From what I remember, finding a site that handles GBA ROMs as well can be a touch tougher (maybe I think this because one of the main places I went to was romnation...and they're a bitch about their newer gen ROMs (& w/e)...

But anyways, I wasn't really looking around because I only just got  personal internet access again about a week ago...I used to have my ROMs on backup, but it turns out I lost those about a month prior (V_V)...but anyways, thanks go to two people who both ended up PMing me the same link (though one gets a little extra credit for giving direct links to the GBA section & the little list). HA! Well, I still haven't bothered to re-dl Advance Wars...or, in fact, any of my old GBA ROMs...I just ended up w/FFVI Advance, which I'm loving! It's like a translation between Ted & RPGOne! I almost hate that I can't cheat on Blitzes, but at least I can perform Aura Cannon & the others (so far) that require diagonal movements...Though I also got FFV Advance. And I love the new status icon pics...makes me wish they'd given FFVI new ones (though they added one for Kefka). I also dled Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, which I haven't explored very much, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, which seems pretty fun so far, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, which is equal parts addicting & frustrating (I'm totally not cheating!), and Yu-Gi-Oh!: Ultimate Masters World Championship Tournament 2006...don't ask...for some reason I like to play the damn things...>_>

HOORAY!

I got the 100s of GBA roms that I pnce had off a torrent.  Torrents are your best bet for GBA roms, in my opinion.

I don't know about that one (something about downloading a lot of files at once, tends to bring a lot junk you end up having to take out of the queue, quite irritating. Oh well, to each their own, I guess.) there are sites that give you direct access to every rom in existence, you just have to look. Torrents are handy, though, they *do* give you everything in a neat package. But then again, you also have to worry about the copyright agencies' War on Torrents.  :x

Well you can select and deselect the ones you want.  And one has little worry of the copyright agencies when they no longer live in the US.  8)

I'm fairly sure I wouldn't even WANT to emulate 100 GBA titles...not to mention the fact that I'm living in the stone age (56k!...FTW?!?)...*heh heh*

I just got Advance Wars again (& Pokemon Emerald...I'll beat one of you damn Pokemon games!...maybe I should have gotten one of the older GB Pokemon titles...w/e)...I forgot about the beginning training stuff that nearly bore me out of my mind...I'm trudging through it though...V_V VBA needs some online multiplayer stuff though...doesn't ZSNES? Oh wells...

I've played 1 and 2, but only own the second game. I suppose I'm biased due to my lack of anything close to skill at the game, but I really don't care for the series all that much (Fire Emblem > Advance Wars). I have issues with the stupid plot/characters possibly more than anything else. I'm sorry, but the whole: "Hi Nel! We are at war (on the battlefield even!) and I take time out of the dead serious business of killing enemy soldiers to talk to you in a overly disgusting and happy way! Did I mention Artillery can't move and fire in the same turn? HA HA HA HA! Jolly good!"

Honestly, I hope the newest game fixed that huge mess. I would MUCH prefer some game with darker colors and dialog that actually pays attention to the fact that it's war, not a tea party. I'd also like the idea of characters that actually die when they lose all their HP, instead of the endless "expendable, expendable, yawn, yawn" crap.

But let me repeat that I suck at the game to the point of being ridiculous. That means stuff. End rant.
