Awsome work! :D
Are you planning on doing more models? Maybe frog or something?
Love to see more wireframes. I dabble with modeling also, so wires tell me more. Would like to see a full wireframe of Robo. You did a great job on him. And maybe some Magus wires?

Keep up the great work!

Yeah, that's pretty good...I don't really like that version of the cape myself (the pointy ends)...plus, I feel like it should be more "bunched" around his neck, like in the pics...but I don't know how that would look or how to even accomplish that look w/realism...

Also, is that blue middle-section going to be like that? In the pics it's more like something over the leather armor...

As for the pants, I've always thought they might be slacks of some kind, but that it was probably more likely to be jeans (goes w/his cowboy-like boots!)...

Also, isn't the widow's peak a little far down? It's totally invading his forehead! Practically touching his eyebrows...Maybe the arch of the peak should be more gradual at least?

Well, anyways, love the Amulet! & that weird metal leg brace thingy Magus has...for w/e reason he has it...>_>

Is it me, or do the legs look like styrofoam.

Thats not what the clothes will look lke in the final version
faustwolf - yes, 3ds max does have cloth simulations, and in fact the purple pants and blue undershirt are both cloth objects, they just haven't been simulated. The plan with them is to add a wind force, then simulate (once the scene is done) to add wrinkles and folds like realistic cloth. But for now they will look smooth and fake. The hair and also be simulated.

Yea the hair line does seem to be a little low.

Sorry for the long delay, been ridiculously busy, however have been learning a lot. I've been working on and have completed a bunch of projects like makin a 1970 chevy chevelle(http://www.freewebs.com/straafe/Final%5FFinal.jpg), creating an animation scene from 'Finding Nemo" about how coral never died and instead is having an affair with the barracuda (as a joke, but for a class), and other stuff. Sorry, I am rambling. Thats why this project has been going along so slowly.

HOWEVER, i have made some big plans for this project:

I plan to start over from scratch, working with more of the details more meticulously and using the skills I have acquired in the meantime. His face was my biggest issue with the current version. Anyway, once I get the new project underway (soon), I will be creating a new thread devoted to it here. Again, I apologize for not having more updates sooner.
