No way I'm giving Magus a 3 shot. That's asking for way too much firepower! I might do that to Lucca, though. The sprite for her fireballs? It's actually a sprite facing to the right, on a 360 counter clockwise animation, but through a script, only the part of that rotation matching the direction it travels is shown. So, since it fires up, it faces up. I could very easily add two more in diagonal directions, but then I must ask what the point is behind frog? The use for his weapon is entirely lost.

Your Ogan timing is diabolical.  It sent me to the boss on my last ship and just Lucca's gun.  Of course, that just meant the boss took a lot longer to die.  Ain't nothing easier to kill than a patterned boss without wide spreads.

:grins an evil grin

Oh, then you're gonna love what I'm working on right now!

Stage 3: 2300 AD

Yes, those drones will explode if you don't take them out in time. What you see on the left turns into what you see on the right.

Mother Brain's displays change every second or so, mocking you and sending orders. When you defeat her though, they display a kind of sad "I only wanted peace for robots"

Nothing like homage to Shodan :D

I just remembered something!

I suck at this kind of game.

A few questions, though...

1. Why do you start with Lucca?
2. You think it would be kinda nifty if it had something like Jackal? I love that game, even though I suck at it! What I mean is, a regular attack you have no matter what with the special character attacks. 'Cause, quite frankly, I am 50% more likely to die by blue birdies with Marle as opposed to Lucca.
3. Is the first place you go to 600 A.D.?
4. If not, why in the world is Frog's theme playing in the background?

Thank you, and I must go attempt to beat the first level. ... yes, I suck that much.

1: nobody else's magical element applies to a standard gun better. You could argue this, or you could think out for yourself how everyone else would fare.

2: Jackal!? Jackal has a gun that fires up and only up no matter what way the jeep is pointed. (kinda stupid if you ask me)  Grenades/ Missiles make up for that. Frankly, I dont' want to do anything really weird like that with my guns. "This powerup makes you shoot right instead!" yeah... as for comparing the logistics of my shooter to Chrono Trigger, don't.

3: No. I told you that already.

4: No. I told you that already.

Basically, the most universal answer is this: It isn't practical at all, and would just make the game look really stupid. On a side note however, I do have Jackal on NES. It is a great game to play, and one on which I always die on the last stage, but the mounted gun only fires north for some reason. It both makes no sense and only hinders what it could be.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Now I get to fail... THREE TIMES AS HARD!!! Yay!

I like the title screen. I don't like, however, the three shooting thing. (I could barely handle one!) Good job, man! Whee! *runs around in circles*

I found something NOT good! I tried to pause so I could turn off the speakers and I WENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL! I hit the button again AND I WENT TO THE LEVEL AFTER THAT!!! I don't think that's a good thing, by the way. But the good news is, I actually beat the first level! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
