Evaluate Steena based on her character design, combat usefulness, and Tilt factor -- which can mean anything, from how much she strikes you as cool to how important she is to the plot.

Character Design: Is it just me, or does she look like a combination of Edea and some sort of proto-Yuna?

Combat Usefulness: Her techs were supposed to be summons, but I never used her.

Tilt: She affects a major part of the storyline when it comes to both restoring Serge to his original body as well as forging the Chrono Cross, but...on her own she's not much of a character. In fact, I think she could've gone for guest PC status at best. She had little development of her own beyond the interesting bits we saw with her double.

Final Grade: C.

Design: Cool; really El Nido vibrant. She's a perfect match for Karsh.

Combat: I liked the eidolons. They taught me a new word and involved some seeking to attain.

Tilt: Steena does have a role, but it's nothing special. Still, the design, cool combat stance, eidolons...she's seriously unique. It's worth a B.

Design: I really liked her design.  Flashy and unique.

Combat: I loved her battle stance--the way she waved her sword around.  She was pretty decent in fights, too.

Tilt: Eh.  She has a nice little role to play, and I was hyped when I first got her, only to be let down by the lack of development later.  If you take her to Divine Dragon Falls after getting Serge's body back, but before beating Chronopolis, she makes some comments about the Seventh dragon.  (My game CD is badly scratched, and I've been unable to play past Chronopolis for some time, so I can't remember if she has similar dialouge when you actually get the Chrono Cross).

Final Grade:  Eh, I'm on the fence.  She's not bad enough to be a C, but not good enough for a B in my book.  B- / C+.

Design: Has a very tropical priestess look of her.

Combat: Never have used her, but her techs have always looked cool.

Tilt: She has a major part in the storyline, and she gives you info of places you go to, but not enough for a B, in fact, I don't know why I put a B in the first place. I had voted C! X_X

Final Grade: C

[Romana]

Design: Steena is undoubtedly one of the most unique, interesting character styles used in the game. She looks mysterious and at the same time very cool.

Combat: Never used her. I love her combat stance, though.

Tilt: She has some interesting plot significance until she joins you. I could ALMOST see her as a permanent playable character, if it weren't for the fact that she suffers Typical Cross Post-Joining Lacking Character Development Syndrome.

Final Grade: B

Character Design - She looks pretty awesome, actually...Though I have NO IDEA wtf is going on with her hair...And her shoulders...I wish they'd toned down the colors, but I'll allow it since it's a whole islander thing they've got going...

Combat Usefulness - Hooray! ANOTHER SWORD! How...unique...V_V Her Techs are kind of cool though as she's some kind of Ghost Summoner...Kind of lame that you have to find not only her Level 7 Tech but ALSO her Level 5! That means if you like her and want to use her in any New Game+'s you'll have to find both of them all over again (one of the lamest of the Chrono Cross New Game+ features).

Tilt Factor - Besides the fact that she's Direa's successor we really don't get much info on her...Just another NPC that says, "What the hey, instead of just telling you where to go, I'll just join your party!".

Final Grade - D
